The spring is here, and Northport Farmers’ Market is getting ready to bring you all the fresh produce and food products from the local farms and merchants.

We start on Saturday, June 18 and will go on through Saturday November 19 from 8AM to 1PM, except for September 17, when the Cow Harbor Race is in town. There will be the Blessing of the Fleet at the dock on our opening day. A whole day of festivities is being planned, so it should be a very good day for everyone.

The market expects several new vendors this season, including a meat vendor, a merchant offering homemade jellies, jams and tapenades, a fresh pasta vendor and possibly a new pickle vendor. Most of the vendors who were with us last year will be back. So far Sang Lee, Wickham’s, Island End Farms, Crossroads, Al the cheese man, Quintessential Cookies, and Copenhagen Bakery have signed on.

Each market day could bring new guests. This season we expect the Northport Fire Department, the Library, VNS, and few more. Keep getting back here to learn the latest.
